Dominica, also referred to as the natural island because of its untouched splendor, is arguably the most gorgeous island in the Caribbean and supports one of the highest levels of living in the area. Dominica offers miles of untouched tropical jungle, gorgeous sandy beaches, and some of the best diving and trekking in the Caribbean. The population exhibits a diverse fusion of English, French, African, and Caribbean cultural influences. It is a state with the lowest crime rate in the area and is politically and economically stable.
Dominica Citizenship by Investment Program
Dominica offers two ways to obtain citizenship through investment.
With the goal of Dominica’s national growth, the Economic Diversification Fund (EDF) was established as a part of a national capital mobilization portfolio. Then, both governmental and private sector projects use this fund.
The following is the contribution to the EDF’s Dominica Citizenship by Investing program:
Single applicant: a $100,000 nonrefundable contribution
main applicant and spouse: a USD 175,000 non-refundable contribution
A non-refundable contribution of USD 200,000 is required from the primary applicant and up to three eligible dependents.
Apart from a spouse, any eligible dependent of the principal applicant must contribute USD 25,000 in a non-refundable manner.
The following is the estate investment portion of the Dominica Citizenship by Investment program contribution:
25,000 USD for a single applicant; 35,000 USD for a main applicant applying jointly with his or her spouse; 35,000 USD for a family of up to four, including the main applicant and up to three dependents; 50,000 USD for a family of up to six, including the main applicant and up to five dependents; and 70,000 USD for a family of seven or more, including the main applicant and six or more dependents.
You must retain the estate for three years before you can resell it under the Citizenship by Investment Program, which can happen five years after the date of acquisition.
