a) Purchasing real estate with an overall value of at least 500.000 Euros (half a million Euros) for newly constructed homes, 400.000 Euros for newly constructed homes in areas with fewer than 100 people per km2, 350.000 Euros for homes older than 30 years, and 280.000 Euros for homes older than 30 years that are situated in areas with fewer than 100 people per km2. b) The founding of a business that employs 10 people permanently. All of these positions must be newly created and approved by a local Social Security office that can attest to the validity of the employee identification documents.

b) Transfer capital into a Portuguese financial institution for five years in an amount equal to or greater than one million euros. To be eligible to apply for a Golden Visa, the financial institution must produce certification of this transfer. If you are the single or initial owner of the business’s shares and the proportion of capital invested is equal to or greater than one million euros, you may make this investment in the name of the company.

(Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland), Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, and the Scandinavian countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland).

Who can get Portugal Residency?

The primary applicant, his or her spouse, children under the age of 18, and dependent children over the age of 18 who are students may all apply for a Portugal resident visa.
